A very pleasant evening spent socialising, catching up on all the gossip and, of course, eating. As usual, more than enough food plenty of doggy bags left the hall at the end. Among our guests was Keith Haynes, RSGB Regional Manager for Region 12 who was certainly in demand from many of the members (I hope it wasn’t all moans - I’ll probably have a tough 2018 if it was :-).
During the evening the SEARS awards were voted on (information about the awards HERE).
The winner in the “Contributing most to the running of the club” was Richard.
The winner of the “Most improved amateur” was Tony.
These awards are voted for by the club members, who can nominate any other member (except serving committee members during the year being voted) for either award.
Many congratulations to Richard and Tony (pics of the presentations below)
