A small group of Essex amateurs took a trip to the Galleywood Heritage centre, on this day Tim Wander was doing one of his ever popular talks about radio, Pete Sipple M0PSX thought it would be good to support Tim and put on a small station to demonstrate ham radio to any interested people from Tims audience. The weather wasn’t ideal, light rain most of the time, but we were welcomed by the heritage centre staff and even offered use of their permanent marquee.
We operated only on 2 metres, and managed a few qso’s.We were met there by Pete Sipple M0PSX, Peter Onion G0ZDB, Charlie M0PZT, Dorothy M0LMR, and Richard G7OED.
