South Essex Amateur Radio Society (SEARS) Venue

SEARS meet at the White House, Kiln Road, Thundersley, Benfleet, Essex SS7 1BU.  The White House is at the rear of the Castle Point Council site.  Entry is at the traffic lights outside the Council offices.  Turn right if coming from the Southend direction, otherwise turn left.

When you enter the site, keep to the right of the Council Office and turn right into the car park just before  Runnymede Hall.  Continue down the car park.  You’ll see the White House at the bottom on your left.  There will be ample parking outside.

The building is divided into several centres.  Ours is the Rainbow Centre.  The easiest access is to walk through the gates into the small car park, down the short path to the right of the building, down the side of the Silver Birch Centre.  Look for the SEARS sign along the way.

The venue is suitable for wheelchair and disabled access.  Our meeting room is on the ground floor.  Toilets and all the usual facilities are available.

SEARS use the White House for their regular club meetings on the second Tuesday of each month, 7 pm to 9 pm, and on other occasions such as for training as advertised separately.  On certain club nights we put up an antenna and are on air.  We provide free refreshments during meetings.

More information elsewhere on this site or direct from the Club Secretary, secretary@southessex-ars.co.uk.
